Elin Oom is a photographer, born in Gothenburg, Sweden but currently based in Asheville, North Carolina. In the Spring of 2020 Elin received a BA in Studio Art with a photography concentration from Appalachian State University. Focusing creatively on alternative portraiture and also architecture through alternative photographic processes. Elin explores the connection of people to places and objects. She is currently working with craft artists in and around WNC to help them professionally photograph their work and also help them tell their stories with in-studio sessions and portfolio photography.
